Vittorio Brumotti heading for the 'Guinness book of records' together with Smith

Sunglasses bySmith accompany a test of limits once again: 100% Brumotti, alias Vittorio Brumotti, the athlete sponsored by Smith will attempt to set the world record with his bike for the 'Most consecutive hurdles hopped' during EICMA 2007, the international bicycle and motorcycle exhibition to be held in Milan from the 8th-11th November.

Brumotti, already world champion of Bike Trial last year, will try to enter the Guinness book of records today, during the 65th Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition currently in Milan. Judges from the famous 'World Record Guinness' will be present to certify the record: to enter 'Guinness', the champion will have to hop with his bike over 20 consecutive 4 metre hurdles set at 1,50 metre intervals.

In the attempt, the biker will be accompanied by the Smith brand which will adorn both his racing shirt and the starting and finishing lines. In honour of this remarkable occasion, Smith has also created a poster commemorating the event, which the biker will sign in front of his fans once he has proven himself.
