Try and Cesvi charity sold out

Sell out for a charity that combined commitment with the irony and creative intelligence of the Zelig comedians.
On Wednesday evening at the historical Zelig on Viale Monza, the auction linked to the Try to Aid benefit project was extremely successful.

50 T-shirts were auctioned, including those designed for this special occasion by an exceptional testimonial like Paolo Migone, the Brazilian-born comedian from Tuscany famous not only for his now legendary black eye, but also for his laid-back, surreal comedy that leans toward the scathing.

All the unique items auctioned by Migone were snapped up. He shared the stage with two gems of comedy with completely different styles and timing. Cinzia Marseglia from Puglia was on the Zelig stage as the countess Antinori, widow of Malvasia, with monosyllabic Claudia Penoni whom we all know for her exhilarating Polish-cinema inspired duo with Leonardo Manera.

All the T-shirts were sold out at the auction and crowned a strongly-desired challenge by eyewear brand Try and humanitarian organization Cesvi, which came together for an operation entirely devoted to supporting children in one of the most rundown cities in the world, Rio de Janeiro.

But Try's commitment goes far beyond. From November 15 more limited-edition Try to Aid T-shirts will be on sale on www.tryeyewear.com.

Another opportunity not to be missed to allow the youngsters of Manguinhos to create a future for themselves and to get the colorful T-shirts with the Try to Aid beating heart. T-shirts for yourself or for someone you love, because a simple gesture allows the brand to Try to Aid. It only takes a click!

All the proceeds from the sales will be allocated to the Casa del Sorriso, Rio de Janeiro, where Cesvi works to support the children and teenagers of Manguinhos, one of Brazil's most rundown shantytowns.
