
New license agreement between Allison and Byblos
A 5-year renewable contract for the production of this important accessory that completes the label's total look has been assigned to the Veneto-based leader of the eyewear sector.
The Byblos collection includes 20 sun and 20 vision models for men and women. It will be presented officially at Silmo in Paris October 19 through 22, 2007 and distributed throughout the world.
The predominant feature of the vision models is metal on acetate: mainly polished, the metal body is imprinted with the Byblos texture of the famous stars and the 'kissing' B logo.
Metal again for sparkling wraparound sunglasses with a black-engraved groove in an architectural curve that is pure graphic expression.
'This new agreement means we can add a high-impact label to our portfolio' stated Allison president Silvio Vecellio Reane. 'Byblos is an important brand in the history of eyewear. We believe that the contemporary and refined spirit that distinguishes it will be a source of inspiration for successful collections' he continued.
