Matt Killen protects his eyes on the green with photochromatic lenses

During the 2007 U.S. Open Golf Tournament, Matt Killen, the professional golf instructor and swing coach, confirmed the value of photochromatic lenses to protect the eyes when playing on the green.

22 year-old Killen is the youngest golfer who trains and represents professionals, such as J.B. Holmes, Kenny Perry and Shaun Micheel.

Killen has been protecting his eyes and eyesight for some time now with 'Oakley activated photochromatic lenses by Transitions' which he considers to be one of the best solutions for professionals and golf enthusiasts.

'I started wearing lenses that darken automatically in the sunlight both for my career and every day' said Killen. 'Good vision plays a vital role in a golfer's career, and the most important feature of these lenses is that they guarantee the best possible vision in conditions of varying light. I also spend all day in the sun, and it is very reassuring to know that my eyes are constantly protected from UVA and UVB rays and from glare.'

The Oakley 'Activated by Transitions' worn by golf champions have been reinforced with Transitions photochromatic technology to optimize visual performance in conditions of varying light, totally blocking out harmful UVA and UVB rays and protecting the health of the eyes both short term and long term.

Besides training PGA golfers, Killen trains countless players from the Nationwide Tour and Division 1 College. He promoted The Golf Channel's 'Academy Live' and has been mentioned several times on 'Inside the PGA Tour.'
