Interpool puts glasses on Museum

"Between end January and early February we should sign a license with a group from Padua which produces footwear and glasses", explained Interpool managing director Franco Natalucci. The new products are part of a development strategy aimed at enhancing the Museum brand, the elected ensign of the company's philosophy.
Together with The Mercer (a new line of men's trouser that reintroduces the atmosphere of New York City's SoHo district), the latest brand belongs to Interpool, the clothing group controlled by Acon, which took over the company from Stefanel in 2003.

"In 2006 our billings were 15 million, a 36% increase compared to the previous year", Natalucci continued. But the group from Vicenza has even more ambitious projects: "We have set up an industrial plan that aims to achieve revenues of 50 million in 2010, whereas our objective for this year is a turnover of 18 million". The increase in dimension could also come about with a new partner.

According to F&M, Interpool is attracting the attention of various industrial and financial operators. "We are negotiating with an American fund' the CE confirmed, 'But I can't say more than that".
