The new NXT® VARIA® New Generation lenses are the result of the Parma-based company's drive to research and develop innovative solutions for the increasingly-dynamic photochromic market. Highly popular and sought-after in the sports and fashion sectors, interest continues to grow in NXT® lenses that combine aesthetics with high performance and maximum vision protection.

With this in mind, Intercast Europe has made further improvements in the characteristics of the NXT® VARIA® lenses that are already on the market in order to ensure greater protection and high levels of comfort, but without neglecting the aesthetics of the basic color of the lenses.

NXT® VARIA® lenses were designed to guarantee maximum crush resistance and the best vision clarity, far and away superior to that offered by polycarbonate lenses, which are frequently used as a reference standard in sport applications. Exceptional resistance is combined with the characteristics of the various base colors, which really balance the light and increase vision contrast so that the wearer has better vision perception.

Lastly, NXT® VARIA® photochromic lenses are special because protection adapts gradually and automatically with the light conditions and in much shorter times: when there is little sunlight, intensity is minimum and the lens becomes clear, but without being transparent; when sunlight is at its maximum intensity, the lens becomes darker. Clear or dark, NXT® VARIA® lenses ensure pleasant colors - even if particular lens colors are requested - and superior optical quality.
