Fashion and solidarity for Cecop
On October 15 the members of the leading European group alternated during Cecop's 1st Shopping day, the event that gave opticians a preview of the collections distributed exclusively to its members.
Own-brand frames are just one of the many services set up by Cecop to meet the requirements of its opticians. The group, which has 1,700 members in Europe, continues to aim at partnerships with the main companies in the sector that sell highly recognizable brands. In fact it is the collaboration between Cecop and preferential suppliers that gives members maximum benefits: the Cecop Remunerated Formula is just one of the most obvious examples of the initiative oriented toward improving the profitability of independent opticians.
Own-brand frames have been developed because of the opticians' need to have items with high margins and good value for money.
The attention to detail and the fashion aspect continue to be two fixed points in the creation of frames in the season's most fashionable colors and made in metal and acetate or combinations of the two. The models for all ages and lifestyles now have new logos.
A new collection with immediate appeal, not only because of the shapes and colors but also due to its presentation and displays at the outlet.
Cecop frames are not just synonymous with fashion. During September they were the protagonists in an important humanitarian event. This summer, Peru was hit by catastrophe: the 8.0-magnitude earthquake isolated the majority of the coastal villages, causing the death of many Peruvians and the destruction of homes and hopes. International aid arrived immediately; many countries and organizations collaborated by sending food and medical assistance.
Cecop also made its contribution by sending over 9,000 frames to Peru.
