Chris McCormack wins again at Quelle Challenge triathlon

Another extraordinary achievement for Chris McCormack: on Sunday, June 24, the Australian champion and Rudy Project's top athlete had his fourth consecutive win at the Quelle Challenge at Roth, Germany, one of the toughest and most fascinating competitions in the triathlon world.

Over 4,000 athletes took part in the twentieth edition of the German competition: a popular 'Macca' ended the course (the Ironman event of a 3.8 km swim, 180 km of cycling and 42.195 km of running) in 7:54'23', the only athlete to come in under 8 hours. McCormack was ahead of Spain's Eneko Llanos (8:06'06') and fellow Australian Peter Jacobs (8:09'18').

The 140,000 spectators who followed the Challenge along the route were able to admire the Australian ace's performance as well as his ultra-new Rudy Project glasses, Sportmask Performance. With their sleek design and aggressive look, Sportmask Performance feature a spacer on the front piece which improves lens aeration and prevents fogging. Sportmask Performance are also striking because of their wraparound lenses and the racing format logos on the sides. Comfort is guaranteed by extreme lightness and an adjustable nose piece in soft silicone.

Chris McCormack's fans were overjoyed by his splendid result in his Sportmask Performance glasses. And for Rudy Project there was the satisfaction of staying at the top in a sport where the performance of the materials is essential.
