There have been changes in the top-management at Hoya Lens Italy, one of the major producers of top-quality ophthalmic lenses. As of October 15, 2007, Maurizio Veroli, who has been the commercial manager since 2003, will take over from Kazuo Tokuda after 25 years.

Kazuo Tokuda began managing Hoya Lens Italy in 1982, the year it was set up. A business management graduate from the Bocconi University, Maurizio Veroli has twenty years' experience in the consumer goods sector in Italy and with major multinationals abroad. In 2003, he joined the optics world as commercial manager at Hoya Italy. In his new position as Chairman, Maurizio Veroli's vision is clear, despite the constant challenges from the market: to be the ideal partner for its clients - opticians - through innovative products, efficient service, and a marketing-oriented policy.
