The group's business will therefore focus on the sports eyewear segment by optimizing the important synergies with the Marcolin Group's core business.

The plan will lead to a cutback of about 90 employees after the closure of the production facility at Frasne, the logistics center at Pontarlier and the reduction in commercial and administration personnel in Paris.

'It is a necessary step' commented Marcolin Managing Director Antonio Bortuzzo, 'to achieve the profitable management of the subsidiary Cebé, which has significantly penalized the Group's results over the last two financial years'.
