Briko and the 'Marcialonga': a historic union that continues also this year

It is a competition with at least 33 years of experience behind it, and an event extremely also with foreigners too. But, above all, it is an event with large numbers: over 5,000 competitors!

This year too the 'Marcialonga' was included in the Fis Marathon Cup's official calendar, with a distance of 57 kilometers both for men and women.

The participants included famous athletes who usually compete in World Cup competitions. One example is the winning Norwegian athlete Hilde Pedersen, a nexpert of Nordic skiing, who won a place this year on the highest step of the podium.

The absolute winner of the competition was Jerry Ahrlin (SWE), followed by Jörgen Aukland (NOR) with an excellent second place. The bronze medal went to the Italian Marco Cattaneo, who missed second place by a split second with an exceptional performance after a tough battle with Aukland.

Briko had been at the event since Thursday 25 January with an exhibition stand at the Congress Center, displaying ski waxes and a clothing collection designed especially for Nordic skiing. Thus, the large public was also able to appreciate the quality of Briko's products, the result of years of experience and the Company's tradition in the world of snow.

Its presence during the competitions was guaranteed by a competition tent, set up especially for preparing the skis with the ski waxes and their new formulas coming directly from the experience of World Cup athletes.

Briko shows a new look, with a preview of the new logo that will characterize it from next season. An extremely stylish presence for all cross-country lovers, continuing Briko's long tradition in the world of winter sports.
