Aluminum, wood and acetate are the elements in the new Piero Massaro collection

Aluminum, wood and acetate: these are the exceptional elements of the new collection by designer Piero Massaro; elements that come together in refined combinations of advanced technology and minimalist design.

The glasses are completely solder-free thanks to the special hinge. Front pieces are in aluminum with temples coated in cellulose acetate.

The exquisitely crafted temples are made by gluing together numerous very fine layers of wood (oak, wengé, walnut and cherry), with a final inner layer of equally fine cellulose acetate in orange, red, turquoise, apple green, white or black on the inside.
The aluminum front pieces are given a special galvanizing treatment before they are painted with sober and satin-finish colors such as aluminum, black, gun metal, gold, eggplant and brown. The color impact is hugely effective.

Inspired by revised and revisited models of the Seventies, designer Piero Massaro has created a collection with a slightly vintage flavor. There are seven models, each with three color variants: three large, wraparound shapes for sunglasses, two of which are square and one is drop shaped; three round and one nylor model for the vision glasses.

The limited, numbered collection is distributed exclusively by Italiana Design of Santa Maria di Sala (Venice).
