Agatha Ruiz de la Prada shows its new sunglasses collection at Cibeles Catwalk

Once again the 45th edition of Cibeles Catwalk has taken place in the Retiro Gardens of Madrid. A total of 35 designers showed its proposals for autumn-winter 2007/08.

As its usual, the contest relied on the presence of our great designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

This time she has stand out for her vitality and even she has been compared with the international Vivienne Westwood. Her personal style, independent and out of the institutional elegance is faithful to her creative philosophy without falling in the commercial stereotypes.

In her new collection of sunglasses, the risky shapes and the colours are the main characters. There has been meticulous works by laser that show the most characteristic icons of the designer, such as hearts, flowers and stars. The rounded shapes, enveloping models and the acetate in different colours give life to a collection created for a public looking for something different.

Besides, Agatha has shown some exclusive models designed for Cibeles Catwalk, unique prototypes inspired in her clothes collection.
