X-Ide: a collection dedicated to the Big Apple
The new X-Ide® collection fully expresses the brand’s constant development that is always aimed at going beyond the trends of the moment to broaden the boundaries of creativity.
“The heart of innovative design is the art of seeing beyond the fashions of the moment, of intersecting and becoming part of them to create a kind of free thinking that gives the collections a style that is continually developing, but also recognizable” stated company CEO Susi Tabacchi.
The 14 models, 7 vision and 7 sun, presented in Paris are all characterized by innovative materials combined with attention to style. An essential part of the experiment are the colors that guarantee the ability of X-Ide® to be continually renewed and different.
The new creations pay homage to the main streets and neighborhoods in the Big Apple. Prince, Mercer, Broome and Bleecker celebrate the atmosphere of SoHo, a cult area rich in inventiveness, dynamism and picturesque corners: a paradise well-known to the world’s architects, writers, artists and designers. The cradle of advertising in the ‘60s and ‘70s and now the quarter of attorneys and shopping, Madison Avenue inspired the name for another model in the collection. The spirit of the great names in jazz, the cornerstones of the history of American music, is embodied in Chelsea, from the quarter that hosts the famous ‘Blue Note’ jazz club. Broadway, Harlem, Village are the other names of the new X-Ide® models which, just like every corner of New York, are to be discovered.
As always, the collection targets a public that is wide and segmented but united by certain traits in common: strong, young and creative personalities who stand out because of their precise and determined style that is frequently a source of inspiration for others.
And, in the same way that New York City offers a variety of atmospheres, emotions and sensations for everyone – the young and not so young, men, women, artists, and architects –X-Ide® also offers a wide range of shapes, structures and colors that express the needs and specific tastes of individual consumers.
