
Vogue Eyewear looks for new It Girl
Vogue’s advertising campaign for spring/summer 2011 features the model who should inspire girls who want to be the new It Girl.
The Vogue Eyewear Style Search is the new contest promoted by the brand that began in April and will continue through June. To participate, all you have to do is take a photo of yourself inspired by “She is IN”, the campaign featuring Kate Moss, upload it on the Vogue Eyewear page and wait for your votes. The photographs with the most hits and votes will then be selected by a panel of fashion experts and the finalist will be nominated in July by Kate Moss in person.
For Italy, the contest is slightly different. It will take place off line and will include a 10-weekend tour of Italy, during which participants will have a direct experience of being a protagonist, with makeup, the choice of the most suitable eyewear and a photo session on the set. The photo will be shown on an interactive screen which will link to the Vogue Eyewear website and allow girls to take part in the contest.
The “She’s IN Vogue TOUR” will be in Turin, Bologna, Rome, Forte dei Marmi, Gallipoli, Naples, Reggio Calabria, Riccione and Jesolo. The first stage was inaugurated on Piazza Liberty in Milan, last Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8.
