Visit to Rodenstock facility in Klatovy

Rodenstock Italia arranged four days in Germany September 25 to 28 to visit the technological heart of the lens production facility in Klatovy.

Under the guidance of Mauro Nocera, product manager lenses & instruments, and Paolo Marchesi, sales area manager and key account, the visit included a large group of optometrists from all over Italy.

The first stage of the tour was Klatovy (Czech Republic), with a visit to the facility where Rodenstock lenses are made and where the optometrists had a hands-on experience of the technology and expertise that have always been a distinguishing feature of the German company.

After Klatovy, the group left for Plzen, to visit the city famous throughout the world for its Pilsner beer.

The following day, the opticians travelled to Munich to visit Rodenstock headquarters and the Rodenstock Concept Shop, where they were met by Alberto Tappainer, CEO of Rodenstock Italia.

In Munich the opticians were able to admire the most important and characteristic locations in the city, where the “teaching tour” stopped at the Oktoberfest pavilions to enjoy good beer in a very appropriate setting. And the best way to end the tour? With dinner at one of the city’s most typical restaurants.

Four days with Rodenstock Italia to share moments of learning but also of entertainment in an atmosphere of extreme professionalism and cordiality.
