Survey Vision presents AnyPad

AnyPad changes the way people with ametropia see their vision imperfections and facilitates dialogue between the optometrist and the customer by showing the reason for the defect and how it can be corrected.

With a specific moveable camera, AnyPad films the surrounding environment and simulates what a person with ametropia will see with the corrective lenses chosen by the optician. The innovation lies in the fact that until now customers have been unable to envisage (or imagine) what they would see when they are actually wearing the glasses.

Moreover, while it is filming, AnyPad can interpret (in real time) the intensity of light and simulate the effect of treatments or the darkening of a photochromic lens and thereby demonstrate what the effect would be with real lenses; it can also show the difference between different types of progressive lenses and the relevant geometries.

But above all, AnyPad is an innovative digital video centering tablet with numerous unique functions.
Near vision optotypes increase screening possibilities by means of an eye chart with contrast sensitivity.
It is also possible to carry out dichromatic, strabismus, Amsler and cross-cylinder tests.

With the tests performed when the eyeglasses are ready, the customer can check their effectiveness and learn from the optician how to use them correctly.

Another fundamental function is close-up centering, which enables the eye’s length of corridor (LOC) to be measured during proximal vision.

AnyPad also assesses the eye-head relationship. After measurements (carried out simply by holding the tablet), AnyPad can process the LOC, the datum recommended by the main ophthalmic companies for creating customized FreeForm lenses.

AnyPad is new in all senses. It can interface with Anyview Vertex (its big brother) and with other fixed video centering devices. And as if that were not enough, it can load films, images, PDF documents and video presentations in PPT or PPS so that everything is to hand, such as price lists, eyewear frame catalogs or contactology price lists.
