Silmo: changes at the top

The Silmo Exhibition has a new president: Philippe Lafont.

The Board yesterday appointed Philippe Lafont as president of the Silmo Exhibition.

Until the end of his mandate, past-president Guy Charlot will continue as president of the Silmo Association, which primarily handles promotion, communication and training in the optics sector.

A descendent of the Lafont family which has been producing frames for eighty years, Lafont is the head of a company that is synonymous with design, color and eyewear.
