Safilo presents the new Max&Co collection
Essentiality as the ultimate sophistication, the result of a creative process based on paring down all the way to the pure form itself, emphasised by a few, decisive details. This is the concept behind the MAX&Co. 2011/2012 eyewear collection. Sunglasses and spectacles characterised by impeccable design, unpredictable colours and textured effects that establish them as contemporary classics, a perfect fusion of tradition and research.
MAX&Co. sunglasses
Post-modern (mod. M&Co. 134/s) - Fractured geometric shapes and interlocking volumes define the architecture of these post-modern inspired sunglasses. A metal insert breaks up the structure of the acetate front, while the logo plaque creates an unexpected discontinuity on the temples. Sharply contrasting colours, such as black/crystal, red/crystal, blue/crystal, grey/fuchsia, mud/grey and black/grey.
Neo-classic (mod. M&Co. 139/s) - A timeless stylish essential, versatile and perfectly in-trend. These bi-layered acetate sunglasses play with unconventional colour contrasts, such as blue/taupe, burgundy/white, black/blue, grey/fuchsia and violet/honey, coming beside the brown version.
Sweet vintage (mod. M&Co. 136/s) - The transparency of the colours and the polished lines soften the bold outline of these acetate sunglasses, decorated by a metal ribbon on the temples. Rainbow-inspired shades, such as orange/red/violet and aqua/blue/yellow, are proposed alongside the brown/crystal and blue/crystal versions.
Retro redux (mod. M&Co. 133/s) - The sinuous Fifties contours revamped with a contemporary flair define these injection-moulded sunglasses. The bold upper frame sharply contrasts with the ultra-slim circles in the lower section. A crescent shaped logo plaque adorns the temples. The frames come in glamorous hues of ochre/plum, grey/blue, brown/green and beige/silver.
MAX&Co. spectacles
Cool kooky (mod. M&Co. 140) - Alluring Fifties silhouette for this oval-shaped acetate optical frame. The temples are embellished with a crescent shaped logo plaque fixed by a visible stud. Strong colour contrasts, such as amber/lilac, green/grey and brown/ivory, are proposed beside solid black and red with polka-dot pattern inside the temples.
Geek chic (mod. M&Co. 141) - The faceted surfaces and square shaped contours characterise this Sixties inspired optical frame. A crescent shaped logo plaque adorns the temples. The colours of the multi-layered acetate create striking overlapping effects with black/crystal, red/burgundy, yellow/hazelnut, blue/khaki, red/violet and green/grey.
