Safegel Fusion is the new contact lens from Safilens
In recent years an ever-increasing number of people have given up wearing contact lenses: science and industry know that the yearly figure is around 10-12% and increases to 35-40% for people who have experienced problems while wearing them. Increased evaporation, instability and a reduction in tear film thickness add to problems of discomfort and are sometimes the early symptoms of dry eye.

Fusion technology takes advantage of the synergic action of HA and TSP to create a totally natural bio-copolymer that is fused with the plastic material of the contact lens by means of Safilens’ patented thermo-reversible hydration process. The Fusion copolymer is released onto the interfaces by a combination of eyelid pressure, winking and body heat. The gradually released active ingredients and excellent viscosity guarantee long-lasting and constant lubrication.
