Randazzo closes 2010 with growth

The Randazzo Group closed 2010 with growth in revenues of almost 5% and billings of 120 million euro, which met all the objectives of the annual forecast.

Despite Italy’s troubled economy of the past two years, the Randazzo Group recorded 10% growth in revenues, 50% in EBITDA and reduced indebtedness by 40%.

“The Group” explained Group president Agostino Randazzo “redefined its positioning in the optical sector. The new commercial policies were not limited to lowering average prices by 15%, they also considerably improved the structure of the commercial offer, which met with customer approval and led to growth in sales volume that allowed the company to acquire important shares of the market”.

“The company” Agostino Randazzo continued “was able to make significant and structural changes, also thanks to the commitment of completely new management which, under the guidance of general director Luca Sacilotto, set up an efficient team that achieved surprising results”.

During 2011 the Randazzo Group intends to boost its growth objectives by opening ten “Optissimo” eco-stores and five “eco-corners” in mass distribution outlets. The new ecological outlets will join the fifteen undergoing significant renovation to bring the number of “green” outlets to 20% of the total.

The Randazzo Group is determined to continue its commitment to environmental sustainability through the “Zero Impact” project and has already signed an agreement with E.On Energia for the supply of electricity exclusively from renewable sources. It is also in the process of replacing its entire fleet of company vehicles with hybrids.
