Positive results for Brands after a year with Borsalino
Brands O.I. is celebrating the first anniversary of its collaboration with the Italian fashion house Borsalino by presenting the third collection at Mido 2011. The over 40 men, women and unisex sun and vision styles include some models with 8 color variations for a total of 254 versions.
The undisputed protagonist will again be Panama, the prestigious limited edition eyewear in horn. Highly popular and requested by leading outlets, its elegance and finesse brought it immediate and huge success as a must-have accessory. Mido will be an opportunity to admire it also for those visitors who were unable to see it at the Silmo preview.
Standing out among the main new additions for 2011 are frames in metal crafted and engineered exclusively for the Borsalino brand. Enriched with milled metal facets, the temples feature an unusual play of alternating polished and matte surfaces perfectly joined to a precious end piece in plate.
Passion for crafting plate has led to the new strongly vintage-inspired models, where skilful milling creates unique color effects.
All Borsalino Eyewear models have Mazzucchelli plates and numerous new models will be fitted with multilayer, polarized antireflective lenses. All hinges have been incorporated to give the frames a more dynamic and harmonious look.
Although it has not forgotten the ’70s, the new collection also includes new shapes and colors more in line with today’s versatile trends and inspirations.
