POC chooses NXT lenses

POC, the Swedish company which designs and produces gravity sports equipment that reduces the risk of accidents to a minimum, has launched a new line of sunglasses with NXT lenses.

“In tune with our very ambitious mission, we aim for the very best when we work on the development of a product”, explained POC CEO Stefan Ytterborn. “As far as the choice of materials and product manufacturing are concerned, we make no compromises when it comes to maximum safety, quality and performance. In the case of eyewear, the most important elements are the lenses. This is why we have chosen to fit NXT® lenses in all the models in our sun collection”.

All POC sunglasses are fitted with NXT® lenses which, in addition to their superior optical performance compared to existing technologies, guarantee extreme resistance to shock, temperature and chemicals.
Customers can choose from three different lens levels based on the intended use: a basic lens with fixed color, a polarized lens with high contrast definition (HCD) or a photochromic lens with HCD technology and/or polarizing.

In addition, all POC lenses in NXT® are finished with latest generation scratch-resistant, oleophobic, antiglare and water repelling treatments to protect them from scratching, dirt and distortion caused by drops of water and thereby provide excellent vision quality.
