New top management appointment at Salmoiraghi & Viganò

Salmoiraghi & Viganò has announced the appointment of Giorgio Candido as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer.

Candido (48) was born in Udine and boasts long experience in the retail sector. After working for over 20 years with the PAM Group, where he was editor in chief of “Panorama” for nine years, in 2010 he joined the Metro Cash & Carry multinational as General Director for Italy and member of the Board of Directors.

President of the Salmoiraghi & Viganò Group, Dino Tabacchi, stated: “Our management team has been enriched by a professional with considerable experience whom I am sure will make an important strategic contribution to the consolidation and strengthening of our market leadership”.
