New press and media relations office for Nau!

New press and media relations office for Nau!

Meridian Communications has announced that it has been appointed to handle press office and media relations in 2011 for NAU!, Italy’s leading brand of optical products sold in the NAU! chain of monobrand stores that offer quality products and design at affordable prices.

The strong point of NAU! lies in its desire to provide optical products that are innovative, simple and surprising. Vision frames, sunglasses with attractive shapes and in the latest fashions, prescription lenses, contact lenses at affordable prices in stores designed for customer wellbeing. With this philosophy, throughout Italy NAU! has opened over 35 outlets and counting.
NAU! is everything that today’s customers could wish for; it is fast fashion and design, but also top quality at affordable prices. In other words, NAU! is “Cheap and Chic”!

And it’s all without forgetting its commitment to the environment. NAU! operates with total respect for nature thanks to less packaging, the use of recycled materials for store furnishings, and energy from renewable sources. Another step toward protecting the environment has been taken by outsourcing eyewear assembly and lens coloring processes to specialist companies that dispose of processing waste responsibly. This commitment by NAU! is confirmed by the multi-year collaboration with Legambiente (Italian environmental association) and the creation of sunglasses collections in recycled plastic, which are worn also by the Goletta Verde team.

“We are enthusiastic about being the ambassadors for the NAU! philosophy, which makes the quality products and design at competitive prices, transparency and attention to customers, and respect for the environment the ingredients of its success!”, said Silvia Ceriotti, Sole Director of Meridian Communications. “The NAU! communication will reflect its philosophy: direct, transparent, incisive, immediate, glamorous but without frills”.
