Cult object and totally paramedical fashion accessory, Laura Biagiotti glasses exemplify a new style of visual art with the logo reworked in the finest techniques: inlaid, laser-etched or even almost “embroidered” onto the arms.
The Laura Biagiotti Eyewear Collection brings beauty, style and elegance together with extraordinary attention to quality of materials, processes and innovation. These ultra-resistant frames and state of the art lenses assure maximum protection and functionality in both sunglasses and optical frames.
The collection being presented at Mido 2011 features 14 optical frames and 4 models of sunglasses. The colour palette ranges from Laura white to new neutrals including powder puff, nude, dove grey, almond, lychee, ginger mauve and tea rose. The bright colours dominate the acetate versions with striking shade combinations. The optical frames are about comfort and design and are suitable for progressive no-line lenses.
FUTURE-LOOK – The futuristic-inspired arms of the acetate models, highly elegant experiments with bright, lively colours for casting a powerful glance at the future. The easy to wear frame fronts are matched with painted metal detailing based on the Spring/Summer 2011 collection colour palette of turquoise, violet, lilac, orange, red, chocolate and ivory.
GLITTER NETTING – Elegant, feminine glitter netting is incorporated into the clear plastic. The result is a precious texture that runs through the entire frame with its soft frame front design and precious jewel logo insert arm design.
CONTRASTING LOGO – The craftsmanship of the metal versions is also highly sophisticated. The contrasting LB logo features, blending perfectly with the plastic arm or set in lavish woven metal designs.
CATWALK MODEL – Icon of summer and contemporary living, these glasses have a large acetate diamond-effect frame that frames two-tone lenses. The facets on the frame front sparkle and bold shades light up with a special golden shimmer. The glitter leather LB logo repeats in an attractive geometric design.
JEWEL AVIATOR – The aviator model is inspired by a Laura Biagiotti catwalk jewel with a sinuous diamanté-covered double bridge. The unique arm also has a precious sparkle to it with diamanté and logo set on a shiny metal insert. Luminescent flashes reflect metallic light with movement added by inlaid details, weaving forms and coatings.
