Juan Jose' Cobo out to conquer Spain with Carrera

An all-Spanish success story for Geox-TMC and Carrera, climbing the highest step of the podium at Vuelta de España along with Juan Josè Cobo.
The Spanish cyclist confirmed his status as absolute ruler of the race, at the end of which he donned the white jersey of the combination classification in addition to the leader’s red jersey. An extraordinary success for the rider who, after his achievement going up the Angliru, resisted numerous attacks from the other competitors in the last few legs, finishing with a 13 second advantage over Sky team cyclist Chris Froome. A Vuelta 2011 not to be forgotten for everyone at Geox-TMC, which, in addition to the individual victory, also conquered the general classification, proof of the team’s strength and value.
Carrera decided to celebrate this splendid victory by presenting the winner with the Radium helmet and CTF-02 glasses in the same colour of the jersey that he had just won.
A special helmet for an extraordinary athlete, encapsulating a combination of innovation and technology not found elsewhere on the market. Its new fitting system makes it perfectly adjustable, providing optimal width throughout the competition.
A concept of comfort also replicated in the C-TF02 glasses, with the innovative MPS2 nose pad allowing them to be adjusted both horizontally and vertically.
