Great success for Venezia Fashion Night Fashion runways and shows

Last Saturday evening the City of the Doges became once again the fashion centre thanks to Venezia Fashion Night, the show conducted by Jo Squillo and organised as a Fashion Talk Show. This formula, which has already been successfully tested, mixes culture and fashion with fashion debates focusing on different aspects through a gorgeous and thrilling show. This year the event was made even more prestigious by sharing the same time slot as the 68th edition of the Venice Film Festival, which transformed the Lido di Venezia into a meeting place for VIPs and journalists. The show took place in two phases: at 6 pm models and outfits slinked on gondolas on the Grand Canal while at 9:30 pm the Gala took place on the beach of the Hotel Excelsior at the Lido. In addition to the excellence of Italian eyewear, the stars of the evening were the new high-fashion collections created by such well-known names as Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Vivienne Westwood, Moschino, Laura Biagiotti, Stella McCartney and Krizia. Also several guests from the world of show business participated in the event. Imagination, Ice MC, Sandy Marton, Sonhora and Entics were on the stage with Jo Squillo, performing to liven up the evening between one catwalk and another. During the show, Laura Biagiotti, fashion icon, won a prestigious award for her trademark and her perfume, Venezia, dedicated to the marvellous city that hosted this event. Laura Biagiotti, accompanied by her daughter Lavinia, received the coveted Leoni della Moda award. During the Gala celebration, in addition to the well-known names of the fashion system, the fashion trade associations and related exhibitions also participated: ANFAO and MIDO, AIMPES and MIPEL, AIP and MIFUR, and CELC Master of Linen. The celebration will also be broadcasted with a special episode on Italia1 and on Sky channel 180 with two episodes of Class TV Moda, also visible in all of Europe and the Middle East.     Debates on fashion and costumes during the Fashion Talk Show conducted by Jo Squillo
