Francesco Fossati wins third edition of Autofocus

Francesco Fossati is the winner of the third edition of the award promoted by VANNI eyewear and sponsored by GAI.
Francesco Fossati of Macherio (MB) wins third edition of the AUTOFOCUS contest.

His exhibition project was selected by critic Olga Gambari to be displayed at the VANNI space in Turin during contemporary art week starting November 5, 2011.

In addition to the exhibition, the contest includes an acquired award and an exhibition catalog.
The reason for the selection: “The award went to Francesco Fossati for his work on the leather in the space, which became a part of his installation by absorbing and integrating its colors and images.

In his project, the young artist opened up a pictorial and installation dimension to create a mechanism that also engages the viewer, not just as a spectator but as a part of the work. An idea of painting that is also photography and literature. A dynamic vision of visual art”.
