
Expocecop 2011: a weekend of relaxation and learning
Sunday and Monday, September 11 and 12, Italy’s opticians and members of CECOP met at the prestigious Royal Hotel Carlton in Bologna for a weekend of relaxation and learning.
In addition to figures, they talked about the new initiatives and services that CECOP offers it members to help them manage their outlets and communication with end-users.
Protagonists of the key learning moments were Ercole Renzi and Alessandra Salimbene (SR Comunicazione). During his talk Sunday afternoon, Ercole Renzi introduced the concept of the Retail Marketing Puzzle®, a tool that helps opticians to make consistent and knowledgeable managerial and entrepreneurial choices. At a packed session Monday morning, Alessandra Salimbene involved the Group’s opticians in an original “style marketing” course, during which she demonstrated a new approach to the presentation of fashion or designer products.
At sunset, the over 200 guests visited vineyards and cellars. Alfresco cocktails were followed by dinner and entertainment in the Estate.
