Dolomiticert expands certification services

Dolomiticert has expanded and completed its certification services: the Ministry for Economic Development approved the laboratory’s request and has issued the relevant decree of authorization.

An essential milestone for Dolomiticert, as certification manager Tommaso Morandin explained: “Thanks to the extension we can at last offer companies a complete service by meeting market demands and becoming the guarantors of all-round safety. From now onward, we can also accredit the manufacturers of category III devices. Category III devices are more complex and delicate because they provide respiratory protection from aggressive chemicals. Specifically, Dolomiticert can now certify devices that protect against chemicals and drowning, but also garments and accessories for protection against electrical hazards, for protecting hands or arms from high voltages, from foundry materials, fire and infrared rays. Apropos of this, I can add that we have completed the offer also for foot protection devices by including boots for firefighters”.

“This success” – pointed out Dolomiticert Director General Luigino Boito – “was brought about by the authoritative interventions of the president of ANFAO, Cirillo Marcolin, Director General Astrid Galimberti, and the President of Confindustria, Emma Marcegaglia, who ensured that their offices accelerated and monitored the authorization process. With this new milestone we hope that Dolomiticert will be able to improve the services offered to companies with a certification panel that responds to different demands”.
