Changes at Salmoiraghi & Vigano'

Roberta Sambinello was born in Vigevano (Pavia) and graduated in political science from the University of Pavia. After a brief experience in the world of footwear, in 1998 she joined the Salmoiraghi & Viganò group as manager of the flagship store in Florence. She went on to become area manager and then regional manager until 2009, when she entered the franchising unit of which she is now a director.

Sambinello’s task will be to further develop the network of Salmoiraghi & Viganò stores under franchise. Currently, it has over 100 franchises throughout Italy, a figure that is destined to increase in the coming years.

“When franchising was identified as one of the main drivers for company growth, Salmoiraghi & Viganò set up a business unit that would focus on developing this formula. Our aim for 2012 is to further expand the network by opening about thirty new stores under license” Roberta Sambinello said.
