Certottica in Varese for meeting in support of companies

The business community in Varese responded positively to the meeting Monday, October 24, organized by Certottica together with the Varese Chamber of Commerce and Unindustria of Varese. The visit served to re-establish an institutional relationship with the Varese eyewear district with which Certottica has a close bond, not only because it is the alter ego of the Belluno eyewear district but also because the Varese Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Institute.

The Italian Association of Optical Goods Manufacturers, Anfao, was also present at the meeting to describe the procedures that manufacturers are subject to for clearing goods through Customs.
Numerous companies from Lombardy attended the meeting that was meticulously coordinated by Certottica staff in order to meet the effective needs of the eyewear industry.

Also discussed at the meeting were the new measures that have just come into force regarding the control of imports of medical devices; companies must have the authorization of USMAF (the maritime, aviation and border health offices), which increases their times and costs. This is why the Italian Association of Optical Goods Manufacturers, Anfao, has also taken action at the Ministry for Health. In addition to providing information through its newsletter, Certottica held this meeting to give practical advice on how complete the required documentation.
