
Carrera takes part in "Counterfeiting makes no sense"
Carrera eyewear, the brand owned by the Safilo Group, is among the most counterfeited products.
Champion and Endurance sunglasses, which continue to be more and more successful throughout the world, will be on show – together with the fakes – at the exhibition “Counterfeiting makes no sense” (Il falso non ha senso) taking place in Rome from today through February 6.
Organized by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and Unioncamere, the aim of the exhibition is to raise consumers’ awareness about the phenomenon of counterfeiting. This event will demonstrate the differences between the original and the fake, and explain the damage caused by choosing counterfeit products as well as the results of preventive actions taken by companies and the Italian Government.
The eyewear exhibition will be completed with information about the company, the history of the Carrera brand and its products, and about the phenomenon of counterfeiting in the eyewear sector.
