Borsalino: an eye on new trends
With a nod to the Eighties and an eye on new trends, the 2011-2012 collection will present 50 models in no fewer than 228 versions.
Compared to previous seasons, the lines are more sinuous and the temples are lighter. Some models have a hint of “modern romanticism”: a touch of retro charm in strictly up-to-the-minute shapes and materials.
Strong, stylish colors are the real stars. Frame colors range from total black to powder pink, from shaded magenta to purple and come with mirrored or shaded lenses for a highly effective release of light. From a blend of purple and yellow to ultra-bright gold and silver reflections, they guarantee maximum vision quality and ample protection in any situation.
The front pieces are enriched with special milling and the logos gradually slide toward the temples. Inspired by the famous Borsalino bow, they may be a misty ornament under lacquer, a joint for the temples, a precious decoration, or even a discreet tag on the inside.
Standing out among the collection’s coolest models is the vision eyewear for women in sheet acetate with the imprint of a butterfly and the logo on the bridge: an example of total femininity where the logo appears to be the knot of the bow. A genuine expression of chromatic freedom, it comes in four amusing versions in combinations of orange and purple and cool shades of light blue-gray, crystal and black.
With this latest collection, Borsalino Eyewear is once again confirmed as an excellent ambassador of the best Made in Italy quality throughout the world.
