At Boffi Solferino in Milan, the Italian debut of Optifog lenses

An original presentation with a lifestyle and good cuisine flavor for the debut of Optifog lenses from Essilor.

On Thursday afternoon Essilor presented the revolutionary Optifog technology to its guests during a live product demonstration at Boffi Solferino, the famous furniture brand’s elegant showroom in the historical center of Milan.

Chef Simone Rugiati, who presents “Cuochi e Fiamme” on the LA7 TV channel and various cooking programs on the Gambero Rosso Channel, tested the Optifog lenses to demonstrate to the audience - about 60 journalists, mainly from consumer magazines, and representatives of purchasing groups - the anti-fog characteristics of this revolutionary product in the optical-ophthalmic world that recently won a Silmo d’Or in Paris and is the result of years of investment in research and development.

At the presentation yesterday, Massimo Barberis also described the comprehensive communication and marketing plan Essilor Italia has prepared for the launch of Optifog on the Italian market: in addition to a campaign in the sector’s off-line specialist magazines, communication will include an intensive TV campaign on SKY and social networks, and targeted PR actions.
