Arianna Fontana on the roof of Europe with Rudy Project
The European title in 2008 and 2009, silver in 2006 and 2010, Olympic bronze at Vancouver… Arianna Fontana (second from the left in the photo) continues her unstoppable rise to success and at Heerenveen she became the European short track speed skating champion for the third time.
The victory was one that left no doubts: 115 points, 73 ahead of Heidum of Hungary and 76 ahead of teammate Martina Valcepina, three successes in four races, first place in the 1,500m and fourth in the 500m.
A highly prestigious visiting card for the next World Championships in which the athlete from Lombardy will participate once again with her Genetyk Racing Pro eyewear by Rudy Project. On the ice it’s impossible not to notice the yellow fluo of this model with competitiveness in its DNA and it’s ready to reach the most coveted podiums thanks to streamlined design, a full-wrap shield and leading-edge technology. Essential for guaranteeing top performance are the side shields that protect the eyes from reflections, air and splinters of ice, promote the right levels of concentration and ensure vision control during the most decisive moments of the race.
But it doesn’t end there. Rudy Project eyewear is worn by all the athletes in Italy’s women’s short track speed skating team.
