An eco-friendly stand at Mido for Vista Eyewear
MadinItaly will be in the DesignLab Area at Mido with the “Onda Creativa” (creative wave) stand built from the values that made it “different”: invention, flair, experimentation, top quality, aesthetic taste, sensitivity to environmental subjects for eyeglasses that are small masterpieces.
The stand is made in Softwall, an exclusive and genuinely innovative eco-friendly material (100% recycled and recyclable). Because the system is flexible and modular, flowing, open architecture can be created: the visual expression of the ‘circulation of ideas’, a value that is deep-rooted in the DNA of MadinItaly. Suspended Cloud lights also made in this revolutionary material are poetic luminous sculptures, the icons of liberated and carefree creativity.
Friday, March 4, the stand will feature the “eye makeup behind eyeglasses” corner. MadinItaly has invited an expert beautician from Bellessenza, the renowned chain of centers specializing in aesthetics on demand, who will give wearers of eyeglasses lessons on how to enhance their eyes. Personalized makeup is also available on request.
Nowadays, frames have a powerful aesthetic value and wearing eyeglasses is a kind of artistic gesture.
The following is a preview of just some of the tricks.
1. Eyeglasses are an important accessory in themselves, so avoid using makeup that is too colorful or heavy.
2. Never extend makeup beyond the edges of the frame.
3. Choose just a few colors that go with your eye color, especially if the frame is brightly colored.
4. Experiment with lipstick to restore harmony to the face and avoid drawing all the attention to the upper part.
5. Avoid eye shadow that is too pearly or glittery as it will give a disco effect when reflected in the lenses.
6. Always apply a base or "primer" to prevent feathering and imperfections that will be more obvious when seen through the lenses.
7. Determine whether the eyeglasses make your eyes look larger or smaller and apply makeup by bearing in mind two fundamental rules: to enhance and “bring out” a detail use light colors that capture the light; to minimize a detail use dark, matte colors.
8. Pay particular attention to your eyebrows: with eyeglasses they are always on show.
