Vision Business Forum on stage in Rome in September
Vision Business Forum, the convention-show promoted by Assogruppi Ottica with the collaboration of ANFAO and MIDO, and the participation of Federottica, is set to take place in Rome on September 6 and 7 at the Centro Congressi Cavalieri Hilton.
“This is the natural evolution of the National Optics Convention”, comments Andrea Garagnani, president of Assogruppi Ottica, “that, after two consecutive editions, had to evolve with the collaboration of the industry and all Italian optometrists and opticians.”
The Roman date calls for two days brimming with appointments, including workshops, specialisation sessions, and scientific courses.
The objective is to gather all those companies, both Italian and foreign, interested in the Italian market and especially those seeking to establish direct trade relations with our company in the central south. Another objective is to offer optometrists and opticians who did not have the opportunity to participate in MIDO to promote themselves directly on an international scene.
Vision Business Forum will also deal with defining the limits of the current economic situation and identifying potential practical solutions to face a difficult moment in the global economy while increasing the profitability of each optics centre. And we must not forget to compare the Italian situation with the international one and, in particular, the European one.
The convention and courses will be accredited with the Ministry to offer participants ECM credits towards their educational qualifications. There will also be enjoyable social events like the evening gala organised for Sunday on the Hilton terrace.
“Vision Business Forum” added Astrid Galimberti, General Manager of ANFAO and MIDO, “is the first edition of an appointment that we believe can become, in time, important for the entire sector and eventually complement MIDO. It could become a strategic moment for the business dealings of the entire sector, with companies and opticians participating to work for the common good.”
