Essilor: new additions to top floors

The company has announced that from October 1, Paolo Fonelli will leave his position as Joint Managing Director and Commercial & Marketing Manager to provide strategic-commercial consultancy on the Italian market for the Essilor Group.
Our special thanks go to Paolo Fonelli whose personal and professional characteristics have made him a natural icon in the sector and a reference point for his collaborators, also from a human point of view.

On the same date, Marco Caccini – currently Joint Managing Director – will become the Managing Director, with the integration of his role in commercial & marketing management.
Class of 1968, the managerial engineer entered the ophthalmic sector in the USA when he joined Essilor, where he held various responsibilities in mass distribution before joining the management of the American supply chain. In Italy, he became director of operations in 2005. Now at the helm of Essilor Italia, his considerable international managerial experience will contribute to its growth and future developments.
