Here come the glasses of Zucchero and Irene Fornaciari

Zucchero and Irene Fornaciari have signed an agreement with Sover for the production and distribution in Italy and abroad of a new vision-sun collection that will be officially presented in at the next edition of MIDO, to be held between March 5 and 7, 2010.

The singer-songwriting pair will be the spokespersons for the two lines studied and created ad hoc for them by the company. For Irene there is the Vintage Irene Fornaciari collection, which will feature undeniably intense and brilliant colours. Zucchero, instead, inspired the Sugar collection, which will offer both sun and prescription models.

At the signing the agreement, which was finalized at the beginning of the week in Valdobbiadene in the Relais Duca di Dolle, only a few guests were present.

Zucchero and Irene already met in Soverzene to make an initial contact with the company and evaluate the stylistic lines of the collection that will bring their names to all corners of the globe.
The new lines in fact will be distributed by means of an extensive network of retail outlets served by Sover in Italy and in more than seventy foreign markets, including countries in Eastern Europe, thanks to the joint ventures and company-owned Sover Optica Shops.
