The show must go on!

The show must go on!

Great success for the International Fashion Show, the event presented by Jo Squillo with big-name protagonists on the world eyewear and fashion scene and which coincided with the start of men’s fashion week June 20 through 24, 2009, in the capital city of Lombardy.

The heavy rain that fell on Milan’s Piazza della Scala Saturday evening did nothing to dampen the allure of fashion! Despite the inclement weather, the audience packed in to see the show where splendid models courageously walked the “red carpet” to present the latest creations by the world’s most famous stylists.
From Armani to Dolce&Gabbana, from Salvatore Ferragamo to Iceberg, from Frankie Morello to Cavalli, from Versace to Blumarine, from Ferrè to Byblos, DSquared and many other labels appeared on the runway before thousands of people who had been at the event since the afternoon.

A fashion event that would not have been complete without eyewear, now an essential fashion accessory.
Sixty-six models from the best of Made in Italy were teamed with marvelous Parah swimwear in a presentation by the best-known brands on the international eyewear stage.

Also present at the event were many of the most famous stylists: on the red carpet in Piazza della Scala were Canadian twins DSquared, Frankie Morello, Luisa Beccaria and Fiorucci, as well as many show-business celebrities like former Miss Yugoslavia and Filippona.

The evening ended with a concert of Eighties music given by numerous artists, including Loredana Bertè.
