Sover at Pitti with Kiton eyewear
Made in Italy and Made in Japan are together at the Kiton stand (Central Hall, Attic Floor, C-11). At Pitti Immagine Uomo 2009, Kiton has combined traditional Neapolitan couture with Made in Japan for its collection of Kiton sunglasses designed by Belluno-based company Sover in a pleasing retro style revamped in a modern key.
The eyewear is for men and features the extremely clean lines typical of the creations by the Naples fashion house. Italian creativity is combined with leading-edge technology through the exclusive use of titanium and first-class mineral lenses. In the sophisticated “breath” version, the logo is discreetly applied only internally and on the lenses. Sober lines and an attentive choice of colors make this eyewear a precious masterpiece.
Gold, the precious metal par excellence, is a feature of the top model in the Kiton collection designed by Sover. Ciro (in the photo) is named after the founder of Kiton, Ciro Paone, and comes in yellow or white 18-carat gold.
In the versions with the co-injected front piece, plastic blends with titanium and a titanium circle emphasizes the lenses in frames reminiscent of the Sixties and Seventies.
