Safilo renews license for JLO eyewear

The Safilo Group, one of the main players in the eyewear industry, announced the renewal of the license agreement with Sweetface Fashion Company LLC for the design, production and sale of JLO vision frames and sunglasses by Jennifer Lopez.

The renewal is until 2011, with possible extension for another two years, and includes worldwide distribution rights. The Veneto-based company has held the license for this brand (currently sold in the United States, Canada and China) since 2005.

Last December, the Safilo Group extended its partnership with Jones Apparel for the Nine West brand for another three years, with an option for three more.
