Optical Master Club: end of second convention

The second Optical Master Club Convention held February 8 and 9 in Bologna has just come to a very successful conclusion.

An ever-increasing number of associates from all over Italy are proof of the growing popularity of this innovative proposal, which is widely different to any offered by other players.

Optical Master Club is not just the usual “purchasing group”, rather it describes itself as a “sales group” because it helps its associates to consolidate and grow their business by always, and only, working with individual outlets thanks to personalized marketing and A-to-Z support.

The convention was opened by president Lorenzo Barberini. The first day was a succession of talks ranging from the Club’s strategies to marketing concepts and new services for members.

OMC commercial director Sergio Colesanti said he was very pleased to see that all the initiatives promoted by the Club in 2008 have met with overall approval and that the plans for 2009 have been approved.

Sabino Pisani (OMC Director) and Vito de Martino (OMC Vice President) illustrated another aspect of fundamental importance: new opportunities for becoming increasingly major players in the Club’s business.

At the same time, members were able to ascertain that the Club’s promises had become concrete facts or tangible tools and actions that had contributed to the growth of their business.

In a Club like this, all members can be active players if they wish. As team leaders of theme work groups, some of them (Elena Pellaschiar, Riccardo Maremmi, Claudio De Felice, Gianluca Bedini and Francesca dell’Osa) talked competently about subjects of primary interest.

On Monday morning, the opticians were able to increase their knowledge about partner companies and the presence of top management was highly valued.

Obviously, there was also entertainment. The Club dinner was held in one of Bologna’s historical locations and cradle of jazz.
