New to Blugirl label
Blufin consolidates the growth of the Blugirl line with a restyled logo and on February 26, during Milano Moda Donna, it will open its first single-brand boutique in Milan at 48 Via della Spiga.
Created in 1995, the brand dedicated to teenagers and characterized by a carefree and irreverent spirit has developed over the years from a style and image point of view and has become a more adult, sophisticated and sought-after collection. This stylistic evolution was followed by higher brand positioning and the Blugirl consumer grew up.
To coincide with the start of the new fall/winter 2009/2010 season, the company has restyled its logo to better express the brand’s new identity: the brand is still identified by its young character and is associated with attitude rather than age, while the label’s typical irony is a blend of romanticism that brings it closer to its “big sister” Blumarine. The lettering is no longer that of an adolescent’s handwriting and the design of the perforated heart is now in a clean and sophisticated font.
But there’s more: as part of the brand’s widespread expansion and repositioning project, Milan will see the opening of the first single-brand store. The 230-square-meter store on three floors at 48 Via della Spiga is next to the new Miss Blumarine single-brand store; both stores will be inaugurated February 26.
The choice of a sophisticated style for the Blugirl store in terms of formal language and details is a distinctive feature of the project handled by Studio Indik: the proposals play a leading role thanks to the new esthetic accent given by pure lines and transparent materials.
