New glasses with Giambattista Valli for Italia Independent

Giambattista Valli will put his signature on Italia Independent’s new glasses.

The designer collaborated with the brand conceived by Lapo Elkann, to reinterpret a pair of sunglasses made by I-I, working on the shapes and colours.

The result was a women’s frame, characterized by a front piece carved from a single piece of ergal, ebony temples with hand painted ends, and either matching mirrored lenses or contrasting chromatically with the ends.

The glasses that were the result of this collaboration were presented during the spring-summer Giambattista Valli show, which was held in Paris last October 5th.

The frames will be sold as a limited edition in four colour variants.
