Moscow Fashion Expo canceled in February

The next edition of Moscow’s couture apparel and accessories fair from February 18 through 21 will not take place. The review at Crocus Expo has been temporarily postponed due to the economic crisis in Russia.

“We decided not to go ahead with the event in February”, announced Roberto Righi, one of the promoters of Moscow Fashion Expo, and Emin Agalarov, who heads the Crocus Group with his father, Aras. “The economic situation is such that we can’t offer guarantees and the risk is that exhibitors will be inconvenienced and dissatisfied” was the brief comment.

However, Collection Première Moscow (CPM), the fashion fair from February 24 through 27 organized by the German company Igedo, has been confirmed and will take place at the Krasnaja Presnja exhibition center. Thanks to Ente Moda Italia, about 280/290 collections will be presented by Italian companies.
