Moscot eyewear now in Paris
The models in the “Originals” line, the top collection from the famous New York eyewear designer Moscot Eyewear and Eyecare since 1915, will soon be available at Colette, the most representative and popular lifestyle store in Paris.
Colette is a real reference point for anyone who wants to be always “a la page” with new trends, a cult for fashionistas all over the world.
The Moscot Originals collection is inspired by classical frames that were in vogue in past decades and it has been hugely successful worldwide since its first launch in the States in 2003. The collection is currently available at Moscot stores and will be introduced by Colette starting February 1, 2009.
For over 90 years Moscot has been an institution in the optics field in New York City. Founder Hyman Moscot began selling glasses from a stall in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The business has always been in the hands of the family and subsequent generations have contributed to expanding it. Today, the company is run by the fourth generation of Hymans, Kenny and Harvey Moscot. In addition to the Originals line, Moscot created the Spirit collection, which remains faithful to Moscot’s metropolitan style but combines classical elements with current trends.
