Lozza returns to big screen
De Rigo Vision is pleased to announce a special Lozza brand project for Valentine’s Day 2009. An exclusive model of Zilo, the historical sunglasses that became a sought-after accessory and symbol of Italian style after it boomed on the international scene in the Seventies, will be worn by Emanuele Bosi, the co-star with Mary Petruolo in the movie “Questo Piccolo Grande Amore” on release in Italy February 11.
The model is SL 1827 V, a very chic Zilo model in polished black with shaded gray lenses or polished white with shaded blue lenses. The model will be launched in the best opticians’ stores to coincide with Valentine’s Day. In line with the ‘retro-futuristic’ style of Lozza’s new advertising campaign 2009, the special packaging has a gigantic heart supported by a small human figure, a ‘hyperbolic’ communication technique typical of the Seventies. As well as the original packaging there will be special window displays with movie-style posters, and coordinated POS material to complete a project that is promising to be a huge success and has already aroused the curiosity and expectations of the public.
Directed by Riccardo Donna with screenplay by Ivan Cotroneo, “Questo Piccolo Grande Amore” is part of a project celebrating Claudio Baglioni’s 1972 hit song of the same name, which won the ‘Italian song of the century’ award. A love story that became a legend and is indelibly impressed on the memory of several generations. The cult objects that most represent the period would not have been complete without Zilo, the symbol of a precise philosophy of life during those years.
The Lozza S/S 2009 Sun Collection presented by De Rigo emphasizes its ability to reinterpret traditions and offers Zilos in a very wide range of styles including Pilot, Team, Sprint and Zilo Sport. Very up-to-date shapes with a double-bridge front piece come in colors that range from classic black, tortoise, brown, honey and gray to the hottest colors of the moment. Almost all the lenses are shaded and make Zilo next season’s must-have.
